Deployments

Overview

Deployments let you deploy a workflow version or an experiment. A workflow can only have one deployment at any given time.

You can create a deployment directly or go through the deployment approval process. We recommend going through the approval process once your workflow is in production.

Once a deployment is created, it takes up to 30 seconds to take effect due to our caching mechanisms.

Direct deployment

To deploy a workflow version or experiment directly, just create a new deployment.

Deployment approvals

Before the deployment happens, you can ask team members to review and approve it. To do this, create a deployment request, and the reviewers will be notified.

Any team member other than the creator can review the deployment request. They can add a review to accept or reject the deployment request. Any review will result in the final decision, and no more reviews can be added afterwards.

Once the deployment request is approved, don’t forget to apply it. You can also cancel a deployment request anytime if it’s no longer relevant.
